BSO de Buitenbende

BSO de Buitenbende is located on the grounds of children’s farm BoerenHummeltjes at Heurneweg 2 in Halle. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our space borders the farm’s meadows and playgrounds, so children feel the freedom of the outdoors the moment school ends. Our qualified staff pick the children up from De Dorpsschool and walk them in a small, homely group to the BSO. There they find a changing daily offer: building huts in the woods, caring for animals on the farm, crafting with natural materials or simply running and romping in the fields. We spend a lot of time outside and consciously experience the seasons. During school weeks we are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm; during holidays and study days from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. We are open 51 weeks a year, closing only on official public holidays. Warm meals are optional and freshly prepared on the farm; bread meals and healthy snacks are included. Parents can easily request or change care through a parent portal. We value short lines of communication: you will always have a familiar face as your contact person and we regularly share photos and stories of the day. Together we ensure that your child feels safe, challenged and completely at home at Buitenbende.
