BSO de Breek

BSO de Breek is located in the building of the Nieuwendam playground association at Monnikendammerplantsoen 12A in Amsterdam North. We provide after-school care for up to 26 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During school holidays, we are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Our space consists of one large hall divided into different areas. We have a wet area with a kitchen where we cook and bake together with the children. The large space is furnished with a home corner, construction corner, reading corner, and a crafts area. Children from various schools come together here. Most children see each other on fixed days in a consistent group setting. We collaborate with Stichting de Spin to organize fun activities during holidays that both BSO children and neighborhood children can participate in. Our pedagogical staff offer a play activity daily, but children are also free to choose who and what they play with. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home with us.
