BSO de Boterbloem

BSO de Boterbloem is a Christian after-school care facility that is part of Christelijke opvang De Kindertuin BV. We are located in a dedicated unit right next to primary school 'De Morgenster' at Kruizemunthof 10 in Wierden. This central location makes it easy and safe for children to come to our care directly after school. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. During school holidays we are open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, so parents can continue to rely on our care during vacation periods. The facility features a spacious group room of 93.5 m² that provides ample play space for all children present. This room is also used for toddler care in the mornings, making the setup flexible and suitable for different age groups. There is a kitchen unit with water supply and a hallway with sanitary facilities, including toddler toilets and an adult toilet with hand washing facilities. For outdoor play, our children use the schoolyard of primary school De Morgenster. This yard is equipped with a sandbox, swings and play equipment. Older children are also allowed to use the 'big' yard where they can play football among other activities. The outdoor space is safe, accessible and appropriately designed for the children's age. As a Christian care facility, we maintain a clear pedagogical policy with attention to the emotional safety and security of each child. We provide structure and boundaries, with respect for the child's autonomy at the center. Our pedagogical staff work with children in a sensitive and responsive manner and stimulate them playfully in their development of motor, cognitive, language and creative skills. BSO de Boterbloem has been registered in the National Childcare Register since June 28, 2021 under number 287287920. We are under the supervision of GGD Twente and work according to the legal quality requirements of the Childcare Act. Our recent inspections show that we meet all required conditions.
