De Boomhut

BSO De Boomhut is located at Sokkerwei 6 in Castricum, inside the Netherlands’ first sustainably built school and the very first ‘Kindcentrum’ of Castricum. We are part of Stichting Forte Kinderopvang and provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The location has room for up to 130 children and works in partnership with Juliana van Stolbergschool, Cunera and Paulusschool. In addition to spacious classrooms we offer a dedicated 7-plus area, a child-friendly kitchen, gym and auditorium. Outside, children play on a well-equipped schoolyard and regularly explore the surrounding neighbourhood. During school holidays we run a Holiday BSO packed with themed activities, sports and games. Our qualified staff tailor the programme to the age and interests of the children, offering everything from sports and swimming to creative workshops and cooking. We value child participation and provide a safe place where children can relax, be themselves and discover new talents. There is always something fun to do at De Boomhut!
