De Boomhut

Welcome to BSO De Boomhut, located at Kindcentrum St. Leonardus, Kerkweg 225, Heemskerk. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, both before and after school hours. Our team of pedagogical staff creates a warm and stimulating environment every day, where children can be themselves, develop, and enjoy a challenging time. We work with fixed base groups aligned with school classes. Upon arrival, we start with a shared moment: sitting together, sharing the day, followed by free play or joining activities. Our spaces include a large, flexible hall, a room with a kitchenette, and a full kitchen. Children use the kitchen to cook or bake together, often as part of our themed holiday programme. Before holidays, we brainstorm themes with the children and turn them into a varied activity plan. Activities include nature and forest exploration, sports and games, crafts, and creative projects. We regularly use our outdoor area and organise excursions in the local area. Every child has a dedicated mentor who is the main contact for both child and parents. This ensures a familiar and safe place where children love to come.
