BSO De Boomhut Een

BSO De Boomhut is a small-scale after-school care location operated by KidsCasa, located on the ground floor of the De Schans community centre at Norgerweg 18 in Een. We provide care for primary school children aged 4 to 12. Our core belief is that every child should feel safe and at ease, enabling them to develop to their full potential. By offering care within the same building as the school, we align closely with the mission of De Schans primary school. Children stay in one familiar place, which fosters a sense of security and continuity. Our group space is thoughtfully arranged with different play corners: a cosy reading nook, a creative table for arts and crafts, a construction area, and a welcoming spot for shared meals. Outside, children have access to a spacious playground, sports fields, and green areas perfect for building huts, exploring nature, and letting off steam. We walk to collect the children from De Schans primary school and bring them safely to the BSO. Our activities are varied and tailored to the age and interests of the children. These include sports and games, creative workshops, cooking and baking, and nature-based learning. During school holidays, we offer special programmes such as themed days and excursions. Our team consists of dedicated, qualified staff who know each child personally and take their needs seriously. BSO De Boomhut is open after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. During school holidays and study days, care is provided at our location De Vuurtoren in Haulerwijk, ensuring children remain in trusted hands throughout the year.
