BSO De Boomgaard

BSO De Boomgaard is located at Dijkgraaf de Leeuwweg 35 in Alphen, West Maas en Waal. We are part of Kinderdagverblijf Groei en Bloei and provide after-school care for up to 19 children aged 4 to 12. The setting is a converted barn just outside the village centre, surrounded by quiet and space where children can play safely. Our qualified staff welcome the children every afternoon with warmth and attention. We work in small, manageable groups so every child receives the care they need. After school, children can unwind with a healthy snack and drink before choosing from a range of activities such as crafts, outdoor play, board games or simply relaxing with a book. Outdoors we have a secure playground with plenty of room to move. When the weather is less inviting, a cosy indoor corner is available for building, drawing or playing together. We believe it is important that children feel at home and are free to decide what they want to do. Our staff guide where necessary and ensure a homely, relaxed atmosphere. During school holidays and study days we remain open and offer an extended programme. We organise themed days, creative workshops and regular outings to the playground, petting farm or woods. Parents receive photos and short reports through our parent portal so they can stay informed about their child’s experiences. BSO De Boomgaard works closely with primary school De Klimboom in Alphen. We collect the children after school and bring them safely to our location. Children from other schools in the region are also welcome, provided there is sufficient space. New families are warmly invited to visit for a tour and an introductory meeting.
