BSO De Bongerd

Welcome to BSO De Bongerd, located at Kindcentrum De Bongerd on Vaassenseweg 3 in Terwolde. We provide professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a familiar and safe environment. As part of the integral child center, we work closely with De Bongerd primary school, ensuring a seamless transition from school to after-school care. Our BSO features three cozy care groups where children feel at home. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children before and after school with plenty of personal attention. We offer both before-school and after-school care on all days of the week. Holiday care is organized based on the number of children present, sometimes in collaboration with other locations. There's plenty to do at BSO De Bongerd. Children can freely play with our extensive toy selection, do crafts with various materials, or enjoy outdoor play on the adjacent playground. The playground features climbing frames, swings, and a football field where children can run and romp to their hearts' content. We regularly organize creative and sports group activities such as dancing, singing, and sports games. For children tired from a long school day, there's also space to quietly read or relax. We believe it's important that every child can be themselves and feel safe with us. Therefore, we have an eye for each child and try to connect as much as possible with the individual. We stimulate ownership and provide guidance where needed, and space where possible. Our pedagogical staff observe the children to properly follow their development and adjust where necessary. BSO De Bongerd uses the Parro app for communication with parents. Here you can report your child sick and stay informed about all developments. We work with themes that connect to the primary school's educational program, making learning and playing beautifully intertwined.
