About this care

AI
De Blokkendoos after-school care (BSO) in Oijen is located in the multifunctional center 'Hart van Oijen' at Kloosterstraat 3. Since April 1, 2017, we have been providing after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO works closely with primary school De Kleine Weide, which is located in the same building. This allows children to walk directly to the after-school care space after school without having to leave the school building. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school. On Wednesday, we welcome children at our BSO location De Kubus on Gerlachusstraat. During school weeks we are open from 14:30 to 18:30, on Friday from 12:30 onwards. During school holidays we provide care from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:30. Our spaces are furnished in a homely and small-scale way with different play areas. Children can choose from a relaxation corner with bean bags, a construction corner with LEGO and Kapla, a creative corner for crafts and drawing, and a board games corner. Behind the building there is a large playground where children can climb, clamber and play football. We also regularly use the public playground for the older children. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide children with a safe and familiar place where they can relax after a day at school. We work with permanent supervisors who know the children well and respond to their needs.
