De Blokhut

BSO De Blokhut is located at Kerkstraat 155 in Enschede and is operated by Stichting Humankind. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The facility is housed within St. Gerardus primary school and forms part of the school’s Integral Child Centre (IKC). We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00, offering both before- and after-school care as well as full-day programmes during school holidays. Each group accommodates up to 20 children, ensuring a calm and manageable environment. The rooms are stocked with toys and materials suitable for all age groups, allowing every child to play according to their own interests. After school, children are welcomed with a drink and a healthy snack. They can then choose to join organised activities or relax with a book or quiet game. During holiday periods we arrange special outings and creative projects. Our qualified pedagogical staff are always ready to listen to the children’s stories and make their time with us enjoyable.
