BSO De Blijberg

BlijbergBSO is the after-school care facility located on the same premises as OBS De Blijberg primary school at Gordelweg 216 in Rotterdam-Noord. We provide care for children aged 4 to 8 who attend De Blijberg school. Our spaces are directly connected to the school building, allowing children to reach us safely and quickly after school hours. At BlijbergBSO we offer plenty of play corners and play areas, both indoors and outdoors. Children can choose from various activities: crafting, building, playing games or simply enjoying outdoor play in our garden. We work with mixed age groups, enabling children from different year groups to play together and learn from each other. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in a calm, positive manner. We are available on school days from the end of the school day until 18:30. During teacher training days and school holidays we provide full-day care. Children then spend an enjoyable day with peers, following a structured daily routine of play, crafts, outdoor activities and shared meals. BlijbergBSO is part of Kinderdam, a Rotterdam childcare organization with over 35 years of experience working with children. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home with us. Therefore we work with familiar faces, ensuring each child has a trusted pedagogical staff member. Parents are always welcome to drop by for a visit or a chat.
