BSO de Bezige Bij

Welcome to BSO de Bezige Bij, located right in the centre of Geffen at Kloosterstraat 4. We are a brand-new after-school care facility that opened its doors on 19 August 2024. BSO de Bezige Bij was founded by Laura van Orsouw and Jurian Langens, an enthusiastic teaching couple with years of experience in education who have now taken the step into childcare. Our mission is simple: to create a place where children aged 4 to 12 can simply be themselves after school. At our BSO nothing is compulsory and everything is allowed. We provide a safe and warm environment in which children, from a place of calm, space and their own initiative, can discover what excites them. Our activities are creative, sporty, adventurous and challenging—think crafting in our creative corner, sports and games in the garden, nature activities and regular outings in the local area. We believe children learn best by doing and experiencing. Our BSO works closely with Basisschool De Wissel, located in the same multi-purpose centre. We pick the children up after school and drop them off in the morning. During school holidays and study days we are open all day, so parents can always rely on us. We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 19 children, so every child receives the personal attention they deserve.
