BSO de Beukelseberg - Brede Daltonschool de Meer

BSO de Beukelseberg is part of Stichting Kindercentrum Watergraafsmeer Amsterdam (KCWA) and is located at Van 't Hofflaan 52 in Amsterdam East. Our after-school care facility accommodates up to 80 children aged 4 to 12 years. We pick up children from Brede Daltonschool De Meer and six other schools in the area. After school, we bring the children to our location where they can play and relax until 18:30. Our children have access to the gymnasiums and spacious school playground of Daltonschool De Meer, providing ample space for physical activity. Every quarter, we organize a block of after-school activities specifically for the children of the Brede School. For older children from 8 years onwards, we also offer the opportunity to participate in scouting activities at scouting Gijsbrecht and scouting Frankendael in Park Frankendael. Our BSO has an open-door policy, where children can play in all areas after eating. This encourages social development and gives children the freedom to choose where and with whom they want to play. During holidays and study days, we remain open so parents can bring their children to us as well. We work closely with Brede Daltonschool De Meer, which means we share the same location and can make optimal use of the school facilities. This provides a familiar environment for the children and a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
