BSO De Beestenboel

BSO De Beestenboel is located at Tromplaan 1a in Doorn and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Driebergen-Doorn (SKDD). Set in a green neighbourhood, our cosy wooden chalet sits right next to Basisschool de Sterrenboog. This small-scale after-school care welcomes children from grades 1 to 4, roughly ages 4 to 7. Older children continue seamlessly at our sister location BSO Triangel, ensuring every child has a familiar place up to age 12. Each afternoon begins calmly: children gather for fruit and a drink, share what is on their minds, and then choose whether to join one of our challenging activities or simply enjoy free play. Sports, nature and music are at the heart of our programme. We make daily use of our outdoor area, the nearby Luden forest and the sports field. Rain gear and boots are always ready, because being outdoors is part of who we are. During every school holiday we run a varied activity programme where children of different ages meet. Games & sports, creative workshops, expressive arts and nature experiences alternate. Children decide for themselves which activities to join, while still having plenty of room for their own ideas and rest. This makes BSO De Beestenboel a place for adventure and relaxation, structure and freedom. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff creates a warm, safe atmosphere in which every child feels seen and challenged. We follow the pedagogical work plan aligned with SKDD’s vision and values. Parents are actively involved through the parent committee and are always welcome for a chat. In short, BSO De Beestenboel is a trusted home base for children from Doorn and the surrounding area.
