BSO De Bakelaar

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum De Bakelaar, located right in the centre of Bakel at Schoolstraat 35. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 in a unique setting that brings together primary school, day-care, toddler care and after-school care under one roof. This allows children to move straight from their classroom to a familiar, safe environment at the end of the school day. Our BSO is open every school day from the end of school until 18.30. During school holidays and teacher training days we offer care from 07.30 to 18.30. We organise children into two age-based groups so that activities match their developmental stage: the younger group welcomes children aged 4 to 8, while the older group is for children aged 8 to 13. Play, discovery and development are at the heart of everything we do. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide a varied programme in which children are free to choose their own activities. We spend plenty of time outdoors, create imaginative crafts, play board games and run sports sessions. During the holidays we arrange extra outings and workshops. We work closely with primary school De Bakelaar, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children from other primary schools in Bakel and the surrounding area are also very welcome. Our experienced staff collect the children from the agreed pick-up point and accompany them safely to the BSO. Would you like to see our facilities for yourself?
