BSO De Aventurijn

Welcome to BSO De Aventurijn, located in Kindcentrum De Aventurijn at Henry Dunantlaan 4 in the green Griffioen district of Middelburg. As part of Kinderopvang Walcheren, we provide before- and after-school care for up to 110 children aged 4 to 12. We work closely with De Aventurijn primary school, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment right after classes. Our BSO is divided into age groups so every child is challenged at their own level. Younger children enjoy the doll corner or build tall towers, while older kids start creative craft projects or join sports and games. We organise activities around four fixed themes: sport & play, nature & technology, creative & culture, and social skills. Playing outside in our nature garden is a favourite: climbing trees, building huts or exploring the bushes. We also make regular trips to the playground or Laurapark. Before-school care starts at 7 a.m. Children can quietly wake up with a game or book, then walk to class together at 8.30 a.m. After school, our pedagogical staff are ready from 2 p.m. We offer a warm and safe place where children can be themselves. Having fun together and playing outside a lot is important to us. Our stable and committed team ensures every child feels seen and heard.
