De Ark

Welcome to KOSMO De Ark, our after-school care (BSO) location at Erve Medenboer 2 in Oldenzaal. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely and safe environment. Our pedagogical staff are ready to give children a warm welcome after school. Our BSO space is specially designed with attention to two age groups: 4-7 years and 4-13 years. The space invites exploration and offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and play. We work with the DoenKids activity program, introducing children to sports & games, technology and experiments, nature and music. This way they discover where their interests and talents lie. We pick up children from schools De Bongerd, De Esch, De Linde, De Maten, De Wendakker and De Zevenster. After school we start with a shared meal: fresh warm meals, healthy snacks and drinks are always included. Then there is time for relaxation or active engagement. Our outdoor play area is fenced and offers plenty of challenges: there is play equipment with a slide, educational equipment, a sandbox and a free running course. For sports activities, children can use the large outdoor area for football, kingball and panna football. We also regularly make trips to the petting zoo, the gnome forest and the countryside where we visit animals and feed ducks. During school holidays, De Ark transforms into a party location with an extra challenging holiday program. The BSO is then open every day, allowing parents to combine workdays and holidays well. We ensure that De Ark is a second home for every child, where they feel safe and at home.
