De Arebaar

De Arebaar is located right in the centre of Sint Annaparochie village, at Hartman Sannesstraat 7A. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland, we provide after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children aged 4 to 13. Everything in the village is within walking distance and our site features a large outdoor play area overlooking the ice rink, which becomes a roller-skating track in summer, giving children plenty of space to play and explore all year round. When the weather is poor, the children enjoy themselves in our spacious playroom. A permanent team of professionals works in a flexible, open and transparent way. Every child is assigned a mentor and we hold a ten-minute meeting with parents or carers each year, if they wish. We value an active parent committee so that together we can look at what is going well and where improvements can be made. Our approach focuses on meeting the needs of every child. Children who need extra attention develop in a calm and safe environment. We create a second home where fun, development and personal attention are central.
