Helden Opvang Dalweg

Welcome to Helden Opvang Dalweg, our after-school care (BSO) location at Dalweg 181 in Soest. We serve primary-school children aged 4 to 12 and are open from 14:15 to 18:30, 52 weeks a year (closed on official public holidays). The site has room for up to 60 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 214909578 since 2 April 2010. At Helden Opvang Dalweg we create a homely, safe atmosphere. Our spaces are stylishly furnished in Scandinavian style, making children and parents feel at home right away. Every day we offer a varied programme of activities tailored to each child’s age, interests and development. Children are free to choose which activities they join; there is always time for their own initiatives and free play. Our qualified staff collect the children after school and start the afternoon with a quiet moment: something to eat and drink and space for whatever is on their minds. We then move on to challenging indoor and outdoor activities that match each child’s world of experience and developmental stage. During school holidays we run an engaging activity programme where children meet peers and see familiar faces. Helden Opvang Dalweg is part of Helden Opvang Soest, an organisation that provides childcare, pre-school playgroups and after-school care at several locations in Soest. We work from our pedagogical foundation ‘childcare with heart and soul’ and strive every day to let children discover and develop through play.
