About this care

AI
Welcome to Dak Vredenburch, our brand new after-school care facility in the heart of Rijswijk. We are located on the attic floor of the monumental Maria School at van Vredenburchweg 75, where we enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery from our bright and spacious group rooms. Our BSO accommodates 37 children in two base groups. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. Children can use two large group rooms of 66 m² each, which we set up with different play corners. Here children can play, craft, read or just relax after school. Outside we have access to the spacious, enclosed schoolyard of the Maria School. Here children can play with, among other things, a swing, slide, a boat and a sandbox. We go outside every day, because we believe that fresh air and exercise after a school day are important. During school holidays we are open all day with a challenging activity program. We work together with various primary schools in the area, including the Maria School itself, to pick up and drop off children. Our unit manager Petra Dijkstra and her team are ready to have a great time together with the children. We believe it is important that children can develop optimally through play in a safe and familiar environment. Feel free to come by for a no-obligation tour and experience the atmosphere at Dak Vredenburch for yourself!
