Dak Dunkler

Welcome to BSO Dak Dunkler at Dunklerstraat 5 in the heart of Scheveningen-Duinoord. We are part of Stichting DAK kindercentra and have been providing trusted, small-scale after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 for over 25 years. Our location offers a maximum of 130 places, divided into two horizontal age groups so every child can play and discover in a safe, suitable environment. At Dak Dunkler we believe children develop best by doing. That’s why we offer a rich variety of activities. In our art studio children can let their creativity run free, while the kitchen invites them to cook and bake. The spacious outdoor playground gives plenty of room for romping, football and messing about in the sand. We also organise regular sports and games that match the children’s interests. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to guide the children in their development. We work from a clear pedagogical policy in which safety, trust and fun are central. Because our location is small-scale we know every child personally and can truly respond to individual needs. BSO Dak Dunkler is open on school days from 07:30 to 18:30. We pick up children from various primary schools in the immediate area. Parents experience our care as personal, involved and flexible.
