Eigen&Wijzer BSO Joy

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer BSO Joy, located at Beethovenlaan 336 in Zwolle. As part of the Eigen&Wijzer organization, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely and green environment. Our location accommodates up to 30 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since August 29, 2012. At BSO Joy, child participation is central to our approach. We actively involve children in planning the activity program, giving them ownership and teaching them to make choices. Together they negotiate, listen to each other, stand up for themselves and learn to compromise. This not only increases their self-confidence but also stimulates their social development. Our activities are varied and development-oriented. We offer music, dance, language and creative arts activities, stimulating all areas of development. Additionally, we make extensive use of our beautiful green outdoor space for nature experiences. We regularly go on trips in the neighborhood and during holidays we organize our special 'Holiday Madness' program full of challenging activities and fun outings. The pedagogical staff at BSO Joy guide children in their development by offering freedom within clear boundaries. We work in a child-centered way, looking at what each child can already do and where they are at that moment. Our spacious group room upstairs offers plenty of materials and toys to challenge and stimulate children. BSO Joy is not only available after school hours, but also during study days and school holidays. We offer pre-school care and our opening hours align with school schedules. This allows parents to use our care flexibly, knowing their children are in trusted hands.
