Welcome to Christelijk Kindcentrum De Wegwijzer – our after-school care (BSO) located at Schiksweg 12 in Oosterwolde Gld. We are part of Kindcentrum IJsselrijk and provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our integrated child centre combines Christian childcare and primary education under one roof, allowing children to grow up in a familiar environment from the age of four right through to secondary school. For our BSO groups, this means that after school children can enjoy a safe, homely space where personal attention and mutual respect are paramount. We work from a Biblical foundation – “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” – and invite every child to develop into a confident global citizen. Our qualified pedagogical staff are on hand to help with homework, creative activities or simply to play and relax. BSO De Wegwijzer is now open every day of the week, giving parents flexible childcare around school hours and holidays. During school holidays we run themed holiday BSO programmes such as ‘City Adventurer’ or ‘Zigzag through the Zoo’, in which children go on discovery trips and gain new experiences. We also work closely with primary school De Wegwijzer, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care so that children feel at home straight away. Would you like to visit our BSO?
