BSO Chapeau Jan Harmenshof

Welcome to BSO Chapeau Jan Harmenshof, our welcoming after-school care located right in the heart of Geldermalsen. We are housed in the temporary accommodation of Jan Harmenshof primary school at Koninginnelaan 4. Our BSO provides care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. We are open every weekday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Fridays, we pick up children from Jan Harmenshof school and bring them to our BSO space. This area is a beautiful open space situated in the middle of the school. It features several large tables where we not only eat and drink but also offer various activities. There's a stage, challenging construction materials, and dress-up clothes. Adjacent to the BSO space is a playroom where children can release their energy. Every day we spend time outdoors. Besides playing on the playground, the school borders a large playing field where we conduct daily activities with the children, allowing them to unwind after a school day. In this environment, children can fully enjoy their free time with friends. In addition to after-school care, we provide before-school care (VSO) every school day from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. We maintain contact with parents through WhatsApp and regularly send photos of what the children experience at the BSO. At Chapeau, we believe children should be allowed to explore and that getting dirty is part of the fun! We approach children with positive attention, and our skilled, creative staff have a warm heart for every child.
