BSO De Rhijnsberg

BSO De Rhijnsberg is part of childcare organization ’t Hummelhuis and is located in the De Rhijnsberg broad school building at Rhijnsburglaan 7a in Heerde. We provide daily before- and after-school care (VSO & BSO) for children aged 4 to 13 who attend OBS De Spreng or CBS Het Talent. Our location has 60 childcare places and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 611049193. We offer a safe, relaxed and warm environment where every child can be themselves. We work with horizontal groups, meaning children of the same age are together in one group. Our pedagogical staff respond to each child's wishes and needs from a foundation of respect, trust and acceptance. We value stability, optimism, fun and continuity, but most importantly that a child feels safe, learns to trust in their own abilities and has fond memories of their time with us. Before-school care (VSO) opens daily at 07:00. Children can play, draw or play games to start the day well. We provide a healthy breakfast and safely escort children to their classrooms. After-school care (BSO) is available after school until 18:00. Here, relaxation and fun are central. Every afternoon we organize an activity, but each child decides whether they want to participate. There's always plenty of room for free play, both indoors and outdoors in our garden. During school holidays and study days, BSO is open from 07:00 to 18:00. We make it a celebration with a special holiday program. Each day we organize an activity, excursion or workshop. Think bowling, slime making, jumping fitness workshops or trips to Heerderstrand beach. There's something fun for every child. Parents can follow their child's day through photos and messages in the Bitcare app.
