BSO Catootje & Obelix

BSO Obelix is part of Catootje & Obelix, a small-scale childcare organisation that has provided a trusted home-away-from-home in the centre of Wognum since 2009. Our after-school care is located in the cosy Leekerhuisje on the grounds of care institution Calidus. This spacious, safe and welcoming venue gives children plenty of room to play, craft, colour and enjoy table football. We only watch a film on really rainy days, and certainly not every day. What truly sets our BSO apart is direct access to all the facilities of Leekerweide. Every day we use the playground, the children’s farm, the gym and the swimming pool. Children can take part in sports activities such as swimming, aquajogging and gym free of charge. These activities are offered Monday to Friday afternoon at no extra cost to parents. Our children’s farm with goats, chickens, rabbits and birds is part of our generous outdoor area of over 700 m². This green environment encourages natural play and love for animals. We provide care on every school-free day, regardless of which school your child attends. Our professional pedagogical staff offer a personal approach in a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
