SKO BSO De Nassauschool

Welcome to SKO BSO De Nassauschool, our small-scale after-school care located right inside De Nassau primary school at Leeuwerikstraat 21 in Hattemerbroek. Since May 2024 we offer a trusted place for up to 20 children from grades 1-8 on Monday and Thursday afternoons, 14:30 – 18:00. Our mission is simple: children must feel at home. Each afternoon starts with quiet play in the group, followed by a shared moment with fresh fruit and drinks. While the children share their school-day stories they learn to listen to one another and to accept each other’s thoughts and actions. Every child is free to be themselves. Our pedagogical staff pick up the youngest children (grades 1-2) at the classroom; older children walk independently from school to the BSO space. Indoors we use the classrooms and corridors of De Nassau; outdoors we play on the renewed school playground that we share with the neighbourhood. We provide a varied activity programme, yet free play and relaxation are valued just as highly. Healthy food, plenty of exercise and attention to the natural environment are part of our daily routine.
