Buitenschoolse Opvang Kids Uptodate is located at Opheusdenhof 87 in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, offering a safe place to unwind, enjoy a warm halal meal, get homework support and take part in a wide range of activities. We collect children from Holendrechtschool, Mobiel Reigersbos, Tamboerijn, de Brink, Wereldwijs, Dumont, ABBS Het Gein and OBS Nellestein every weekday at 14:00; on Wednesdays we start at 11:00. During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 19:00. Our daily routine starts with a healthy hot lunch. Next, every child receives 15 minutes of guided homework time using educational software such as Ambrasoft, Muiswerk Junior and Einstein, always prioritising the assignments given by school. Afterwards children can choose from sports, games and creative corners. Tuesdays feature swimming lessons, Wednesdays include trips to the local library, petting farm or playgrounds, and Thursdays offer kick-boxing sessions. Dance, singing and piano lessons rotate through the week so every child can discover new talents. The group size never exceeds 20 children, allowing our qualified staff to give personal attention to each child. We aim to create a homely atmosphere where children feel relaxed and valued. New families are welcomed with one free settling-in day; parents receive immediate feedback and, if needed, we adjust the settling schedule. Parents can enrol for 2 to 5 fixed days per week under a year-round contract covering 52 weeks, excluding official public holidays. School study days are not included and require a minimum of five children to run. You will be informed at least one week in advance whether care on a specific day will proceed; if not, the fee for that day is refunded.
