Buitenschoolse opvang Djoy

Buitenschoolse opvang Djoy is located at Stationsstraat 52 in the centre of Maasland and is part of Kinderdagverblijf Djoy B.V. We provide after-school care for up to 39 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our group rooms are clearly divided into two age categories: 4–7 years and 7–12 years, so every child can play, relax and continue to develop in a familiar and age-appropriate setting after school. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We observe and listen to what the children tell us and tailor our activities accordingly. In this way we encourage children to discover in their own way, growing self-confidence and independence. The colourful, homely interior of our building offers space for a wide range of activities, while the garden provides plenty of opportunity for outdoor play and sports. As a private childcare provider we are close to parents and children. This allows us to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of each family. Our pedagogical professionals guide the children with pleasure and attention, so that they can develop in complete freedom. Together we create a safe, challenging and homely place where children feel at home.
