BSO Atalanta

BSO Atalanta is part of Kindcentrum Atalanta, located at Zonnegloren 1 in Heerhugowaard. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, where enthusiasm and fun are at the heart of everything we do. Our location is housed in a modern child centre that also includes a primary school and toddler care. The BSO is open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM and offers care before and after school, during holidays, and on teacher training days. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide children in a safe and stimulating environment. We work from a bilingual vision: Dutch and English are introduced in a playful way throughout the daily programme. This aligns seamlessly with the bilingual education provided at the primary school. Children are given space to play, relax, and take part in activities that match their interests and development. BSO Atalanta works closely with primary school Atalanta and other schools in the area. We collect children from school and offer them a familiar place to unwind and recharge after a school day. Our team consists of certified pedagogical professionals who know how to motivate and support children. We use the Social School App to keep parents informed and to communicate easily. We provide care for up to 41 children per day. Our spaces are warmly decorated and inviting for both quiet moments and active games. We believe it is important that children feel safe and valued so they can develop to their full potential.
