BSO De Stein

BSO De Stein is located at Steinhagenseweg 5 in Woerden and is part of Kind & Co. We provide after-school care for up to 94 children aged 4 to 12. Children attend from Regenboogschool, Andersenschool, Margrietschool (on Wednesdays and Fridays), R. de Jager, and De Schakel. A staff member waits at the Steinhagenseweg crossing every day to guide children safely from school to De Stein. Outdoor play is central to our programme. Children can walk or cycle—supervised or independently—to the adjacent sports field, where they play football and a variety of other games. We also use the gym at De Regenboog primary school weekly; our specially trained sports staff lead diverse indoor games. Indoors, there is plenty of space to relax and be creative. Facilities include a pool table, LEGO corner, arts & crafts and drama area, and a quiet spot for homework. Dance activities are on offer too: children can freely join dance and movement sessions that match their interests. We believe children should enjoy their free time and make their own choices. They therefore help decide the activity programme. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, stimulating environment where every child feels at home.
