BSO De Springplank in Nuth is a small-scale, homely after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Nuth, an organisation with over forty years of experience in childcare throughout the municipality of Beekdaelen. Located at Parallelstraat 41, we can welcome up to 46 children and work with two horizontal age groups: the Hiphoppers (younger group) and the Coolkids (older group). We believe that after-school time is meant for relaxing, having fun and discovering new things. That is why we organise our programme around changing themes such as children’s art, music and dance. Every week our dedicated, enthusiastic pedagogical staff put together a varied activity plan from which children can choose freely. There is room to share the story of the school day, be creative or simply move around. Our BSO is open on school days from 7.30 – 8.30 a.m. (before-school care) and from the end of school until 6.30 p.m. (after-school care). During school holidays and study days we are open all day from 7.30 a.m. – 6.30 p.m. We work closely with primary school De Bolster, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. In short, at BSO De Springplank children find a safe, familiar place where they can be themselves and where personal attention comes first.
