Welcome to BSO De Schatkist! We are a small-scale after-school care facility located in the 'De Pionier' cabin of the Dr. Ariëns scouting group, on the edge of Mheenpark in Apeldoorn. After a busy school day full of stimuli, the nature surrounding us provides the ideal environment to unwind, play freely and discover new things. We make daily use of Mheenpark and the surrounding area by going on adventures together. The time children spend with us is their free time. That's why we believe it's important that they have lots of fun and come to our BSO with enthusiasm. We offer a homely and safe place where every child has the space to be themselves. Our core group 'De Schatzoekers' consists of a maximum of 15 children, allowing us to provide lots of personal attention. We work together with various schools in the area. From schools De Mheen, De Prinses Margriet, De Zevensprong and Het Web, we can pick up children on foot, provided the occupancy allows it. For children from other schools, we have the possibility to pick them up with our 'teachers' cars'. This way we ensure that every child can safely join us after school. At BSO De Schatkist, being outdoors and nature experience are central. We believe that children develop best by playing in nature, discovering and experiencing adventures together. Our location provides direct access to Mheenpark, which we use daily. This makes our BSO a unique place where children can grow in a familiar and stimulating environment.
