BSO IKC De Regenboog

Welcome to BSO IKC De Regenboog, located at Aeolusweg 8 in De Bilt. As part of the Integral Child Centre De Regenboog, we work closely with De Regenboog primary school and other partners under one roof. Our after-school care is specially designed for children aged 4 to 13 and offers a familiar place before and after school, on free days, and during school holidays. We believe that children thrive best in an environment where fun, respect, and collaboration are central. That’s why our pedagogical staff work closely with the school’s teachers. This ensures a continuous line in your child’s guidance. We pick up children on foot from De Regenboog and De Rietakker schools, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our location features a spacious outdoor area with natural play spaces, a sandbox, cycling opportunities, and climbing equipment. For sports activities, the Cruyff Court is within walking distance. Indoors, there’s a play hall, craft corners, and a special teen corner for older children. We offer a varied daily program, developed with the help of DoenKids. Children can participate in creative activities like crafting and music, as well as sports and games, nature exploration, and STEM projects. During holidays, we organize a special holiday program with themes like ‘City Adventurer’ or ‘Discovery Journey at the Zoo’. This program is co-created with the children and shared in advance via the UN1EK website. Children who are not regularly enrolled with us are also welcome during holiday care. We use vertical groups, where younger and older children play and learn together. This encourages social development and ensures that siblings can stay connected.
