Welcome to BSO de Poolster, located in the heart of the Broad School at Pasteurstraat 4C in Den Helder. As part of Monter Kinderopvang, we provide before and after school care for up to 80 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 3, 2012, under number 223892786. BSO de Poolster is housed in the modern child center De Windwijzer, which allows us to work intensively with the primary school and other partners in the broad school complex. This unique collaboration enables us to offer a seamless transition between school and after-school care. We operate according to the principle 'together where possible, different where necessary', using common themes and activities. Our opening hours are extensive: from Monday to Friday we provide care from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. This means parents can flexibly accommodate their working hours while their children are in trusted hands. The location is easily accessible and offers a safe environment for children from various neighborhoods in Den Helder. The broad school complex in which we are located has extensive facilities, including a gymnasium and a green playground. This natural play environment not only stimulates play but also contributes to sustainability awareness. Children learn through play to deal with natural materials and feel jointly responsible for their environment. At BSO de Poolster, the development of each child is central.
