Buitenschoolse opvang De Kleine Zeester Westendorp is a small-scale, homely after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12, located within De Leemvoort primary school at Steuterweg 2 in Westendorp. We provide care after school hours, on teacher training days and during school holidays, with personal attention and a familiar environment at the heart of our approach. Our after-school group is housed in its own dedicated space within the school building. Here children can unwind after school or engage in active play. The room features various play areas: a construction corner with LEGO and building materials, a creative area for arts and crafts, a kitchen corner where we regularly cook or bake together, and a quiet corner with books and games. Each month we work around a different theme, adapting the areas and offering new activities accordingly. Outside, we have access to De Leemvoort's spacious school playground where children can play football, tennis, enjoy the sandbox or cycle on the bike track. When weather permits, we organize outdoor games and nature activities. We also regularly collaborate with the school on projects and use the gymnasium for sports and movement activities. Our dedicated, enthusiastic childcare professionals know each child personally and tailor activities to their interests and development. We work with small groups, allowing plenty of room for individual attention. Holiday care is provided from our Silvolde location, ensuring children see familiar faces even during school breaks.
