Buitenschoolse opvang de Kiekeclub is part of the small-scale, private childcare centre Kiekeboe, located at Dorpstraat 30 in Luyksgestel. Since 2005 we have offered after-school care at this location for up to 40 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our goal is simple: to create a safe, stimulating place where children can play, discover and relax after school. We are open four afternoons a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2.45 pm to 6.00 pm) and also provide before-school care from 7.30 am to 8.30 am. During school holidays we run an extensive holiday programme with fun trips and activities that last the whole day. Themes change regularly; each theme includes craft projects, sports and games, and creative hands-on activities. The choice to join in is always up to the child – nothing is compulsory! Our pedagogical staff offer personal attention and guide the children in a homely, familiar atmosphere. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued and is given the space to explore the world in his or her own way. Making friends, discovering talents and learning boundaries through play – that is what De Kiekeclub is all about. Quality, professionalism and openness form the basis of our work. We have a stable, motivated team that receives regular training. Parents are actively involved through our parent committee and can always come to us with questions or ideas. In short, De Kiekeclub is a place children enjoy going to and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
