BSO de Albatros

Welcome to BSO de Albatros, a small-scale after-school care centre located on the ground floor of primary school De Albatros at De Dalen 1 in Beverwijk. We are part of Welschap Kinderopvang and provide care for up to 12 children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 14 December 2020 under number 284547232. What makes our location special is that children can stay in their familiar school environment right after school hours. We use a cosy indoor space within the school, and also have access to the playgroup room and its materials. In addition, we have a large, enclosed schoolyard where children can play and move freely. We work with a stable team that has extensive pedagogical expertise. Our approach focuses on providing a safe and low-stimulus environment, with extra attention for children who need more guidance and support. We use themed corners such as a reading corner and a construction corner, and the toys are carefully matched to the different age groups. During school weeks we are open from the end of school until 18:30. During school holidays and study days we provide care from 8:00 to 18:30. For holiday care we collaborate with other locations: children aged 4 to 9 go to BSO de Jungle, while older children can go to 9+ locations. Parents receive insight into their child's day through the Konnect app: photos, reports and current news. They can also digitally access their details, invoices and annual statements.
