Buitenkans

Welcome to Buitenkans, our after-school care (BSO) located at Parklaan 3 in the centre of Heerhugowaard. We are part of Blosse Kinderopvang and provide out-of-school care for up to 48 children aged 4 to 12. Our pedagogical plan is based on the goals of Marianne Riksen-Walraven and translated into daily practice. Together with local football club SVW ’27 we run weekly sports and games sessions focused on fun, movement and social skills. Safety and health are our top priorities; every excursion and activity is carefully prepared according to our safety policy. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff guide the children in small, age-based groups so each child has room to develop at their own pace. After school, children can relax, do homework, be creative or enjoy outdoor play in our green play area. We work closely with parents and nearby primary schools to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
