BuitenGewoon Kinderopvang is located in a charming former school building at Voorsterweg 125 in Oeken, Brummen. From here the children look out over meadows where deer regularly roam—a calm, rural setting that invites exploration and play. Our after-school care is designed for children aged 4 to 12. We pick them up from various primary schools in the area and offer a safe home base where they can play, relax and grow after school or during the holidays. We work in vertical groups: children of different ages are together, so younger ones learn from the older children and the oldest naturally learn to take responsibility. Our pedagogical staff are ready with warm hearts and professional guidance. Small scale is our trademark; because of this we know every child—and the parents—personally and everyone quickly feels at home. BuitenGewoon is more than just childcare. We provide space to romp in nature, teach children to take responsibility and respect each other. While playing they develop social skills, self-confidence and creativity. Whether it’s building a hut in the woods, an afternoon of sports and games on the playground, or a quiet corner to read: the children choose for themselves what they need after an intensive school day. Our location is easily accessible; by car you are there in no time. Children come not only from Oeken itself, but also from Tonden, Empe, Voorst, de Hoven, Zutphen, Eerbeek and of course Brummen.
