BSO Yellowstone

BSO Yellowstone is located on the grounds of primary school De Nieuwe Wereld in the Weidevenne district of Purmerend. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The location has two fixed base groups, each with dedicated pedagogical staff, so every child always sees a familiar face. Doors open at 07:00 in the morning. Children can wake up calmly and choose an activity before being brought to class on time. After school we either pick the children up or they come to the BSO on their own. Around 15:00 a healthy snack is served—vegetables, fruit or crackers with toppings. Afterwards the children choose from joint activities such as drama, crafts or playing in our adjacent playground. During school holidays we are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30. We organise special workshops and themed days to make every day a celebration. We work closely with Openbare Basisschool De Nieuwe Wereld and Oecumenische Basisschool De Marimba. Communication with parents runs through the OuderApp, where you can find daily reports with photos, send messages and easily request extra days or report absences. This keeps you involved in your child’s experiences every day.
