Kids Lodge BSO Wijs! Nieuwegein Korfbalvereniging Koveni is an outdoor after-school care location of Kids Lodge, situated at the grounds of korfball club Koveni at Helmkruid 7 in Nieuwegein. Since the 2022-2023 school year, we provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. At BSO Wijs! everything revolves around outdoor play and adventure. Children experience the most wonderful adventures in and around the park throughout the year. From building huts and playing hide-and-seek to searching for little creatures and picking flowers for a bouquet. We also teach children how to cook safely on fire and they can even earn their fire diploma. When the weather doesn't cooperate, children can use a shelter location. Our location at korfball club Koveni offers the unique opportunity to use the sports fields and facilities of the club. This makes sports and movement a natural part of our activity program. We combine outdoor activities with creative pursuits, always combining safe outdoor play with adventure. As part of Kids Lodge, we work according to their vision that life is a journey of discovery. We help children make this journey of discovery by challenging them, stimulating them and giving them the space to develop in their own way. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in a professional and involved manner.
