Kids Lodge BSO Wijs! Utrecht Leidsche Rijn Castellum is an after-school care facility located at Burgemeester Middelweerdbaan 1 in De Meern. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in base groups. Our philosophy is that children should be able to play outside all year round. In a safe environment, we give children the space and responsibility to challenge themselves and develop. Outdoor play is central to our approach. It guarantees a day full of movement, fun and healthy energy. During outdoor play, children develop their motor skills and coordination while learning to interact with other children and handle different situations. Playing together outdoors is not only incredibly fun, but also valuable for their social development. We let children build huts, play hide and seek and discover nature. A little rain doesn't stop us, but in really bad weather we have fun alternatives at our shelter locations, such as a climbing hall, gym or petting zoo. This ensures that the fun continues regardless of the weather. Our location accommodates up to 44 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since April 1, 2014 under number 208943353.
