BSO Wereldwijs

BSO Wereldwijs is a small-scale after-school care centre located in the main hall of primary school WERELDwijs at Guldenslag 131 in Houten. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend this school. The space is furnished in a homely, cosy style and includes a construction and home corner, a chill-out area with books, building materials, board games, and craft and technology supplies. Children can enjoy outdoor play in the spacious schoolyard with playground equipment and outdoor toys. We also use the school kitchen for cooking activities and the gym for sports and games. Our activity programme is broad and tailored to the children’s ages and interests: cooking, sports and games, theatre, music, technology and creative projects are central. During school holidays we regularly organise excursions to fun local venues. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart approach of Kind & Co Ludens: children feel welcome, are given trust and space to explore and learn through play. We maintain regular contact with the school’s teachers to ensure that care and education are well aligned. BSO Wereldwijs is open on school days from the end of school until 18:30. During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30. Our dedicated childcare professionals provide a safe, friendly environment every day where children can be themselves and have fun together.
