Sport BSO Waaidorp

Welcome to Sport BSO Waaidorp, the energetic after-school care centre in Broek op Langedijk where children aged 7 and up spend every afternoon moving, playing and challenging themselves. We are part of Stichting Allente opvang and have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 August 2010 under number 723974433. Our location at Prinses Margrietstraat 2A accommodates up to 30 children and is fully geared towards sport, play and healthy exercise. Being outdoors is at the heart of everything we do. After school, children jump straight into action: they play football, hockey, dodgeball or join a tough boot-camp session. We use the nearby sports park and the fields of korfball club Rohda, so there is always space to run and play. If the weather is unkind, we move into our cosy clubhouse. Inside, children find a table-tennis table, board games, a craft corner and reading materials, so no one ever gets bored. Our pedagogical staff are true sports enthusiasts, each holding a first-aid certificate and a Certificate of Good Conduct. They guide the children in a positive way and let them choose which sport or activity they feel like that day. No tight schedules, no obligations: freedom and fun come first. After exercising, a healthy snack is always ready – fresh fruit, vegetables and a tasty drink – so everyone has enough energy for the rest of the afternoon. Sport BSO Waaidorp works closely with primary schools in the immediate area. We either pick the children up or they cycle over independently.
