BSO 't Kwakersnest Rozenbeek

BSO 't Kwakersnest Rozenbeek is located on the ground floor of primary school De Rozenbeek at Floraronde 289 in Velserbroek. We provide small-scale after-school care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12. After school, children can walk straight from their classroom to our space, saving parents extra pick-up and drop-off trips. Our pedagogical approach encourages children to discover and develop through play. We believe in ‘playing with heart, head and hands’ and give children the freedom to explore the world in their own way. Activities are varied and tailored to the children’s age and interests. During the summer we spend two weeks ‘on an adventure in nature’: building dens, learning to light fires and discovering what lives in the area. We also run surf clinics where children are introduced to wave surfing and the natural laws of the sea. For sporty children we regularly organise clinics and training in football, hockey and boxing. Excursions are part of our programme too: we take the BSO bus to nearby playgrounds and to the Westbroekplas recreation area. All our activities focus on fun, cooperation and developing new skills. We work from a familiar and safe environment that feels like a second home to the children. Since July 2024 we have been part of Les Petits Kinderopvang. This partnership allows us to further guarantee our quality and gives parents access to a modern parent portal.
