BSO SOM Locatie Het Zwanenest is located at the athletics track of OSM’75, Zwanenkamp 1333 in Maarssenbroek. We are an after-school care facility for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 and part of the Stichting Naschoolse Sport Opvang Maarssen. Our unique programme centres on sport, movement and personal attention. Every afternoon follows a steady rhythm with a varied schedule. Children enjoy one hour of sport every day led by a fully qualified PE teacher (ALO graduate). During these sessions they learn the basic skills of different sports while having fun and staying active. From November through April we move to Sporthal Zwanenkamp so that we can keep exercising all year round. We believe in small groups and plenty of individual attention. That is why we work with a staff-child ratio of 1 to 6, far below the statutory requirement of 1 to 11. This gives our pedagogical staff real time for each child and allows parents to have a quick chat about the day at pick-up. Our teams consist of permanent employees and interns, so your child always sees familiar faces and never has to get used to new ones. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 651826391 since 7 April 2010 and is supervised by the GGD Regio Utrecht. We provide care on school-free days and during holidays and cooperate with primary schools in the immediate area. Curious?
