BSO Smaragd

BSO Smaragd is located inside the Resurrection Church building at Esdoornstraat 25 in Zwolle. We work closely with GBS Smaragd, the reformed primary school situated across the street. Just like at school, we use the same ‘kanjer rules’ and speak the same ‘kanjer language’, giving children one familiar environment. Our Christian identity and core values are the foundation of everything we do. We aim to be a loving, safe and challenging place where children feel at home. After school they can relax, play and have fun with us. We organise a variety of activities and teach children to interact positively and care for one another. On teacher training days of GBS Smaragd we provide additional care. We meet regularly with the school to coordinate how we can best serve children and parents, so that school and after-school care form one extended team around the child.
