Schalkhaar Park Braband

Located in the heart of Schalkhaar's forests, our unique and adventurous after-school care location Park Braband has been the place where sports, nature and childcare naturally come together since 2010. We provide after-school care specifically for children aged 10 to 13, focusing on freedom of movement, discovery and having fun. Our clubhouse is beautifully situated in a wooded area with a spacious covered terrace, allowing children to play outside even in less favorable weather. Inside you'll find cozy seating areas for relaxation, large work tables, and numerous opportunities for creative and challenging activities. With a maximum of 24 children per group, we create a small-scale and relaxed atmosphere where every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Sports and games are central to our approach. Our location features 7 tennis courts, including 6 all-weather courts. Children can standardly use one court, but during quiet moments they can also utilize other courts. Additionally, we offer football on the free play area, table football, mini pool, an electronic dartboard, Nintendo Switch for relaxation, various board games, and plenty of craft materials for creative expression. In the forest, children can build huts, walk and cycle. We believe in freedom and independence. Children decide for themselves how to spend their afternoon - whether they want to play sports, be creative or relax indoors. Our pedagogical staff guide, stimulate and support where necessary, while also giving children space to make their own choices. All this in a safe environment where children feel at home and come to with pleasure.
