BSO Royal Kids Home Wegwijzer

BSO Royal Kids Home Wegwijzer is an after-school care facility located on the grounds of the Christian primary school De Wegwijzer at Hyacint 1a in Krimpen aan den IJssel. Together with the school we form an integrated child centre where children aged 4 to 12 feel safe and at home. The location accommodates up to 41 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 295312142 since 4 January 2016. Our pedagogical staff work from a Christian identity and offer every child loving care and security, so that each child can develop at his or her own pace and level. We operate two age groups: De Hooiberg for children aged 4 to 6 and De Poldersport for children aged 6 to 12. This structure allows us to tailor activities and guidance precisely to the child’s stage of development. During school weeks we are open from 7.00 to 8.30 a.m. and from 2.15 to 6.00 p.m.; on Wednesdays care starts at 12.00 noon. In school holidays we welcome children from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Parents can make use of before-school care (VSO), after-school care (NSO) and holiday care. We work closely with primary school De Wegwijzer and the PCPO Capelle-Krimpen foundation, ensuring a smooth transition from the school day to after-school care. Children can take part in activities built around various themes that match their interests and the Christian values we uphold.
